Work Free Day In Enugu To Honour Pro-Jonathan’s Rally

The Enugu state’s support rally group – Enugu State Movement for the Re-election of President Jonathan, has slated its campaign for Thursday and declared a work free day for maximum participation.
The state Commissioner for Information, Chuks Ugwoke, announced this Tuesday in a press statement issued in Enugu, the state capital. The rally Ugwoke is scheduled to hold at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu and begin 10:00 am.
The statement explained that the state Governor, Sullivan Chime, declared that the September 25, holiday was to enable the citizens and other residents participate fully in the rally and give the best honour to Mr. President.
While public establishments have been enjoined to comply with the directive, the state government has similarly directed markets and banks to honour the work free day order, by closing down for the day’s business.
