Vice President Sambo Heads PDP Governorship Campaign in Anambra

Vice President, Namadi Sambo has been appointed to lead the governorship election campaign in Anambra for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Tony Nwoye in November 16 election.
Other members of the campaign committee include: the party’s national chairman, Bamanga Tukur, its Board of Trustees chairman, Tony Anenih, Senate President David Mark, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, former Vice President Alex Ekweme, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha and the Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang among others.
The party’s spokesman, Olisa Metuh while briefing journalists on the composition of the committee boasted that PDP will win the Anambra governorship election coming up on November 16.
He affirms that Tony Nwoye remains PDP candidate adding that the party was not in alliance with any other party.
“NWC is very mindful of the importance of Anambra election at this critical moment and we want to inform our members that on Monday all issues pertaining to the party will be dropped and we will focus on Anambra election. We will give every assistance including legal to ensure that we win Anambra governorship election.” Metuh said.
