Use And Dump Trends In PDP Worry Mu’azu, Cautions Jonathan, Governors
Featured, Latest Headlines, Politics Tuesday, January 6th, 2015From Ganiyu Nasirudeen, Abuja – The top hierarchy of the ruling PDP appears worried about certain misgivings within the party, as its incumbent National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has cautioned against the use and dump trend by the party’s political office holders.
Adamu droped the rather amazing caution Tuesday at the inauguration of the Party’s Presidential Campaign Organization, heralded by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The National leader of the PDP lamented that many of the party’s members dumped it for various oppositions, as they have one way or the other suffered from use and dump syndrome which he observed had gained ground within the party. He added many of the opposition parties had large chunk of their old members, as they had variously been shortchanged by the party leaders.
Mu’azu’s regret has no bound when he indicated the opposition political parties have in the past fed on PDP’s failure to compensate its members, who had worked either for it, the Governors or the President.
He appealed to President Jonathan to parley the party’s Governors, Senators as well as other elected members on the need to discourage the trend, instead, to embrace the spirit of justice, equity and fairness.
