US Police Kill Another Black Teen In Fergusson Area
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Wednesday, December 24th, 2014After over three months of the similar incident, which sparked days of violent protests, another black teenager has been shot dead by the St Louis city Police in the United States (US).
The St Louis County Police explained that the deadly shooting which took place very close to the spot where another unarmed black teenager, Micheal Brown was killed, Saturday, August 9, 2014, was by a man who pulled a gun at a petrol station and pointed it at an officer.
The latest victim was identified as Antonio Martin, also a 18 years old and a resident of Berkeley, about two miles from the neighbourhood Ferguson, where late Brown was shot by a Policeman, Darien Wilson.
The killing immediately drew mob of protesters to Berkeley, Missouri, the scene of the shooting, which has now been sealed off by Police.
The victim’s mother has confirmed the killing and the city’s Police Spokesperson, Sgt Brian Schellman said in a statement that an officer had been conducting a routine check at a petrol station since Tuesday evening, when he saw two men and approached them.
Schellman confirmed that one of the men pointed a handgun at the officer, who after fired several shots.
