US 2016 Poll: Trump Accuses China Of Trade “Raping”

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – In a renewed opposition to the China’s trade policy, Republican Presidential candidate hopeful, Mr. Donald Trump has accused China of “raping” US and spreading corruption in the world.

Trump made the accusation Sunday, at a rally in Indiana, declaring that China was to be held responsible for the greatest stealing in the history of the world.

It would be recalled the controversial politician has previously indicted China, accusing it of manipulating its currency to make its exports more competitive globally. Trump bemoaned that the alleged acts had seriously affected the US businesses and workers.
Trump stressed at the rally: “We can’t continue to allow China to rape our country, and that’s what we’re doing.

In line with his opposition to China’s policy, the business mogul has stated in his campaign manifesto to cut a better deal with China that helps American businesses and workers to compete.
Consequently, Trump declared a four point strategies to check the China offensive economic advances, which include: a currency manipulator; “end to China’s illegal export subsidies and lax labour and environmental standards.

The US government in 2015 recorded trade deficit with China reaching an all-time high of $365.7bn), while as at February this year, it soared to $57bn.

As Trump is using for the first time, such abrasive expression against China, his campaign for the Republican Party’s Presidential nomination has received more knocks.

However, Beijing is yet to react officially to Trump’s comments, who ironically is considered in China as an inspiration rather than antagonist.
