UPDATE: Senate Fixes Dec 15 For Magu’s Confirmation

ABUJA, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – After failing Thursday, the Senate has again fixed Thursday, December 15, 2016 as a new date for the confirmation of the EFCC acting Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.

The Deputy Senate Leader Bala Na’Allah confirmed this while speaking with the Senate Correspondents after the day’s plenary session.

Senator Na’Allah explained that the exercise failed to hold as scheduled (for Thursday) so as to ensure that the lawmakers who were on various oversight functions participate in the screening next week.
