Unpaid 6 Months Salaries: Osun Workers Begin Strike Tuesday
Featured, Latest Headlines, News From The State Monday, May 25th, 2015By Ayo Balogun – Osun State public servants will begin indefinite strike on Tuesday over the state government’s inability to pay them six months salaries.
The workers had issued 14-day ultimatum to the government to pay them the six months salaries being owed them.

According to him, an indefinite strike would begin by all the workers in the State of Osun as from Tuesday, May 26, 2015 due to the failure of the government to accede to “our legitimate demands, as contained in our letter to the government dated May 12, 2015.”
He said the strike would be total, ordering the workers to stay at home as from tomorrow.
“No worker should resume work until announcement is made by the labour bodies to that effect,” he said.
