Unknown Gunmen Kill One Person In Rivers
Latest Headlines, News From The State Thursday, March 31st, 2016Unknown gunmen killed one person in the early hours of Thursday in Buguma, the headquarters of Asari Toru local government of Rivers State.
The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the local Council, Sobomabo Jackrich confirmed the ugly incident and gave the name of the deceased as Godknows also called Babadiba.
Jackrich claimed the Police had stepped into the matter, while he appealed to the residents and promised the perpetrators would be uncovered.
The deceased was allegedly threatened by some persons in the week, but the threat was not taken seriously by him and the residents.
