Unknown Gunmen Kidnap UNIPORT VC’s Son

By Ignatius Okpara, Enugu – Unknown heavily armed men have abducted son of the newly appointed Vice Chancellor VC of the University of Port- Harcourt, (UNIPORT) Prof. Ndowa Laale.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University, William Wordi, made this known to the newsmen in Port Harcourt, the River State capital Tuesday.

Wordi confirmed that the abduction occurred at about 7pm Monday in his father’s residence at Ebubu, Eleme area of Rivers State.

As at the time of filing this report, the State’s Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
