Two Men Electrocuted in Enugu –Police

Two persons, a 25 and 28-year-old men have been electrocuted in Enugu on same day. While one of the victim was simply identified as Onochie, the other’s name was given as Uche Nnamani.
The state police spokesman, Ebere Amarizu, who disclosed this to AFRICAN EXAMINER Tuesday, said Onochie, resides at No.48 Aria Road Enugu before the unfortunate incident.
According to the PPRO, both deceased were “electrocuted on Saturday, 28/5/16.
He added that “Onochie, was said to have allegedly climbed an Electric pole to effect a connection when he was electrocuted.
“His dead body has been deposited at the Colliery hospital mortuary Enugu.
The second victim, Nnamiani, was said to have “been electrocuted on as he went to change his generating set line to public power supply line.
“A Doctor at Parklane Hospital Enugu confirmed his death” said Amarizu.
“Meanwhile, his remains has also been deposited at the Colliery hospital Mortuary Enugu, just as full scale investigations have commenced into the two incidence. the PPRO said.
