Troops Capture Six Suspected Terrorists; Recover IED Factory In Borno

Troops of 22 Brigade Garrison, Army Headquarters Strike Group (AHQ SG) with Civilian JTF have arrested six suspected Boko Haram terrorists and recovered Improvised Explosive (IED).
Defence Headquarters (DHQ) confirmed this Monday in a statement that the arrest was made Sunday, on patrol to Boboshe, Garna, Kyare, Kadawu, Gineba and Ajiri villages.
During the operations, the fighting patrol team Defence found Boboshe village virtually empty; recovered eight industrial gas cylinders and five regular gas cylinders at a Primary School being suspected to be used for producing IED. The troops aslo recovered a Pickup van.
Similarly, the patrol team captured three Boko Haram terrorists at Kadawu and recovered four motorcycles, three bicycles one solar panel and two liquid herbicides. Also, the troops recovered seven locally made guns from the suspected terrorists in Garna.
