Tragedy: Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Way to Church For His Wedding

Tragedy struck on saturday at Ekwulobia, Orumba North council Area of Anambra state, as a 38-year-old groom, Mr. Nzekwe Chukwuemeka Barthlomew, died in an accident on his way to the church for his weeding.

The ugly incident happened few hours before the aborted wedding ceremony.

African Examiner reports that the late Bartholomew was a vulcanizer.

Sources close to the deceased family disclosed that he was being conveyed on a high capacity motorcycle around 9:30am by his Best Man from their village to the church in Ekwuluobia where the bride was already waiting for him.

The late vulcanizer and his best man ran into a stationary Camry car which the driver of the car suddenly opened the door, not knowing that a motorcycle was coming behind.

The groom was hit hard by the door, as he landed on the tarred road hitting his head against the hard surface and died on the spot while the Best Man sustained minor injuries.

Meanwhile, his remain has since been deposited at a private mortuary while the Best Man is now receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Ekwulobia.
