Hip pop artiste Anthony Olarewaju Awotoye popularly called Tony Tetula has joined All Progressives Party to contest for a seat in kwara state House of Assembly in next year general elections.

Tony Tetula who has submitted letter of intent to Kwara APC secretariat to represent Irepodun state constituency in the state house of assembly.

The hip pop artiste with the hit song ‘you don hit my car’ joined the league of other celebrities such as Abolore Akande (9ice), Kenny Saint Brown, Desmond Elliot, Okey Bakaasi and others who are seeking for elective post in 2015 general elections.

African examiner gathered that Tony Tetula is banking on his popularity in the music industry and connections to secure APC ticket.

The father of two kids is expected to face other aspirants in ruling APC in the state for primary election slated for November.

This might just be the right time to replay his hit song(Tinubu you don hit my car, eyinbo repete) for APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to use his influence to secure APC house of assembly ticket.
