Latest Headlines, News, News From The State, Nigeria 2015 Election Wednesday, February 18th, 2015The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has lamented the non-collection of the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) by Lagosians.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that only 62 percent of Lagosians have collected their PVCs so far.
At an emergency party stakeholders meeting at the APC Lagos secretariat on Wednesday, Tinubu ordered party members, council executive secretaries, members of the State House of Assembly to go back to their wards and units and sensitize people who registered to go and collect their PVCs.
The former governor alleged that the PDP have been buying PVC and VIN numbers of voters at the cost of N10,000 purposely not to win the election but to de-populate those who are interested in voting for APC.
“PDP is jittery; they are afraid of defeat and pressurised INEC to shift the election. On our part, we are ever ready. They have been buying peoples’ PVCs and destroyed them because they know they cannot use it. They have embarked on de-population strategy.
