Taraba Acting Governor Declares Suntai Missing; Blames Cabal On Poor Health

Controversy trailing the impair state of health of the Taraba state Governor, Danbaba Suntai, has taken a new dimension as his Deputy, Alhaji Garba Umar, has declared the whereabout of his boss is unknown.
The shocking declaration was made in Jalingo, the state capital during a media chat with journalists, addressed by the state’s number two citizen. Umar revealed that he was yet to meet face to face with Governor Suntai since his return to the country, weeks after he was smuggled into the country by certain cabal.
The Deputy Governor explained that he and few of his aides arrived airport to receive his boss, but unknowingly to him, “the cabal was already waiting at the international wing of the”, where the plane conveying his boss was directed to land.
He added when he was hinted the Governor’s plane tarmac at the international wing of the airport, he quickly rushed down to receive him, only to find out that he has been moved into another waiting vehicle which immediately left band drove to T.Y. Danjuma Lodge.
Umar alleged that the cabal, around Suntai, was couching on his severe health so as to hold on to power, yet, called on residents of the state to avoid religion intolerance and work together for the unity of the state.
The Deputy Governor expressed delight that this year’s Eid – kabir held under a peaceful atmosphere as well as on the restored peace in the troubled areas of the state.
