Suspected Petroleum Pipeline Vandals Kill 7 DSS Officers In Lagos
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Thursday, September 17th, 2015BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) | BY NIYI ADEYI – No fewer than seven officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) were late Tuesday killed in a bloody clash between them and suspected petroleum pipeline vandals, in Ikorodu, Lagos outskirt.
The latest clash which erupted on Ishawo road, of the area, our Correspondent learnt was the second in the last two weeks. It was learnt that the onslaught was at the instance of the suspected vandals.
The first attack which occurred late August involved, four policemen from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad and Owutu Police Station, leaving three of them dead, while the only lucky one was severely injured.
