Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Appeals to Boko Haram Insurgents To Stop Blood Shedding
Latest Headlines, News Monday, July 28th, 2014Again, the Nigerian Muslim Leader and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, has urged the insurgents in the Northern part of the country to fear God and stop the war against the citizens and country.
Sultan Abubakar, made the call on Sunday in Sokoto in his Salaah message to the Nigerians.
Abubakar, who is the President of Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) bemoaned that the insecurity in the country had claimed too many lives and property in the last five years, saying that the colossus loss of innocent lives and property were highly regrettable and anti – Islam.
Sequel to recurring security challenges, Sultan disclosed that many Nigerians were facing various degrees of difficulties. He therefore charged Nigerians to sustain prayers that God touch the hearts of the terrorists to turn a new leaf or expose them.
In the main time, the Nigerian Muslim Leader has hailed the security agencies for their efforts in checking insecurity, yet tasked them not to relent.
Similarly, Sultan Abubakar called on the citizens to complement the efforts of the security operatives in maintaining peace and order as well as see entrenching unity in the country as a collective responsibility.
He also called on to the political leaders to ensure that social justice prevailed in every part of the country.
