Togo Captain Hails Spurs Manager. Says ”Sherwood Is A Nice Guy”

Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor has hailed Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood, saying ”he’s a nice guy with a huge character.”
The former Arsenal striker, who struggled through former manager Andre Villas-Boas’ days at Spurs said Sherwood showed confidence in him and that he would would continue to work for the team.
Since Sherwood took over as Tottenham manager, Adebayor has become first choice at Spurs netting six goals in all competitions.
“He has been there for me since day one and he just told me” Adebayor said.
He said the manager told him how good and important he was to the squad and encouraged him to fight for his team mates.
“If you fight for the team, the team will be behind you.”
“At the moment, this is what is happening and I am very happy.”
