Pellegrini Avenge Mourinho Defeat As City Cruise To FA Cup Quarter-Finals
- Updated: February 15, 2014
Manchester City have avenge their recent Premier League loss to Chelsea after sending the Blues out of the FA Cup with a convincing 2-0 win at the Etihad on Saturday.
Stevan Jovetic, who had earlier hit the bar, gave City a first-half lead in the 16th minute.
Assisted by Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri, Jovetic fired a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Manuel
Nasri, making his return from injury, completed victory when he rifled home after a neat one-two with David Silva.
