Nigerian Midfielder Seek Divine Intervention To Be In Brazil

Super Eagles midfielder Gabriel Reuben is seeking divine intervention to be part of  the Nigerian squad to this year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Reuben made this known during an interview with Waasland-Beveren TV .

The former Kano Pillars star said picking a Super Eagles shirt would be a huge task, considering the number of talented Nigerian players that are hoping to be part of coach Stephen Keshi’s team to the global event.

”Yes, the chance to play for Nigeria at World Cup will be possible with God. Nigeria have a large pool of good players. If it is my time to play at the World Cup in Brazil, I will make the team. I will be working hard and pray to God to make it.” Reuben said.

Reuben, who joined Waaslav-Beveren from Scottish side Kilmarnock also spoke about his trials at Premiership club Tottenham Hotspur.

”I was there at Tottenham Hotspur for trials, I was training with them. I put everything in the hand of God then that his will should be done.” He said.
