“Keshi Is Africa’s Best” -Ghana Coach
- Updated: January 30, 2014
Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has described his Nigerian counterpart, Stephen Keshi as the best in the continent despite the Black Stars’ CHAN 2014 semi-final victory over the Super Eagles on Wednesday.
Konadu believes the outcome of the Ghana/Nigeria game does not in question Keshi’s reputation in Africa.
“I do not think this game will change his status in Africa. I know Nigerians are behind him. They all respect him and what he has done with the local team,” Konadu said in Bloemfontein on Thursday morning.
“We know how African football is and I had said that he (Keshi) is the kind of man we need in African football.
Nigeria’s Stephen Keshi was crowned the continent’s coach of the year at the Glo/CAF African Football Awards.
