Helpless Moyes Feels Angry Fans’ Frustration

Manchester United’s dismal 3-0 defeat in the derby with City proved too much for some fans to take – and manager David Moyes felt the full force of one’s frustration.

The fan had to be escorted away by stewards after confronting Moyes near the home dug-out as United slumped to a tenth defeat of the Premier League campaign.

A double from Edin Dzeko – including the fastest goal in the Manchester derby in the post-1992 era, clocked at just 43 seconds – and a third from Yaya Toure gave title-chasing City a routine victory.

The former Everton tactician had nowhere to hide as a cross section of angry United fans attacked him verbally as he sat and watched helplessly as his team were being ripped apart by the ”noisy neigbours.”

Moyes had hoped United had turned the corner following back-to-back victories against Olympiacos in the Champions League and West Ham in the Premier League.

But their limitations were brutally exposed by City, with the outcome of the match never looking in doubt.
