Elephants Score Threes Goals In Seven Minutes In A Dramatic Champions League Tie Against Anges

Enyimba scored three goals in seven minutes to beat Anges de Notse of Togo in a dramatic CAF Champions League preliminary round encounter at the Aba Township Stadium on Sunday after coming from a goal down.
Sibi Gwar, canceled Camara Cheik’s first half goal scored twice in between Kingsley Sokari’s to secure victory for the former African Champions in the last seven minuts.
Captain Camara Cheik shockingly put the Togolese in front in the 37th minutes.
The Elephants came out fighting hard for the equaliser after resumption, but for a resolute Anges de Notse’s defence soaked the pressure.
The Nigeria Super 4 Champions had to wait till the 83rd minutes for the all important equaliser by SibiGwar, which was quickly followed two minutes later by a second scored by Kingsley Sokari’s.
Gwar sealed victory for the Elephants with his brace at stoppage time.
Anges de Notse will host the second leg in Lome next week.
