German Champions Set To Snatch Arsenal Target

Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy could be set for a summer move to Arsenal, after being spotted at the Emirates during the Gunners’ 1-0 victory over WestBromwich Albion.
The French international, who is currently at Newcastle on-loan from Harry Rednap’s championship side, has been linked with the north London club for the past several weeks.
Remy watched Arsenal beat the Baggies thanks to Olivier Giroud’s first half header from the stands, but won’t have been that enthralled by a game that seriously lacked much action.Redknapp recently revealed that Remy’s QPR contract has a buy-out clause, and admitted: “It’ll be difficult to keep him now”.

“I don’t even know what the deal is, or what the buy-out clause is,” he continued, suggesting the Loftus Road club will be cashing in, after he joined in an £8m deal back in January 2013.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich want to beat a host of Premier League clubs including the Gunners to the QPR striker Loic Remy in a £15million deal.

The Bundesliga and European champions are keen to tie up a move quickly for the France international, who is on a year-long loan with Newcastle.

Remy plans to quit Rangers whether they win promotion or not and the west Londoners are willing to sell.

Newcastle had hopes of keeping the former Marseille star, but they have gone.

Bayern have signed Polish star Robert Lewandowski for next season, but they want Remy too.

Remy knows he would probably go to sit on the bench, but the glamour of Bayern – and the salary he’d get there – are tempting, and talks are due to start soon.

The Frenchman is also wanted by Arsenal’s North London rivals, Tottenham as well as Everton.
