Soldiers Rescue Abducted Women In Adamawa
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Friday, March 25th, 2016The Nigerian Army has announced that some of the women abducted by the suspected Boko Haram terrorists Wednesday this week, in Madagali, Adamawa State have been rescued.
Public Realtions Officer of the 28 Task Force Brigade, Mubi, Capt A.O. Fadare made the announcement Friday, in a telephone interview with NAN.
Capt. Fadare explained that the soldiers rescued the abducted women while pursuing the terrorists. The Army publicist was not specific on the rescued number, as he responded he was still verifying details on the development.
It would be recalled about 16 women who went to fetch firewood in the forest around Sabongari village of Madagali penultimate Thursday, were kidnapped by the suspected terrorists.
