Sit-At-Home: Gunmen Invade Imo School, Chase WASCE Candidates Away
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Across Nigeria, News From The State Monday, September 13th, 2021(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State have been attacked by unknown gun men after the declaration of sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The armed men reportedly attacked the school premises when some students were participating in the present 2021 West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE) and ended the exercise.
As at the time of filing this report, details of the incident is still sketchy but according to available information, the hoodlums destroyed some properties during the attack
Police authorities are yet to comment on the issue .
