Seven Die In Lekki-Epe Expressway Accident
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Across Nigeria, News From The State Sunday, May 2nd, 2021(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Seven youths were on Saturday morning killed in an accident along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has said.
The accident, it was gathered, occurred around 1am at Shapati (Fragend).
The deceased comprising two men and five women, all occupants of a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) with registration number AGL953GQ, were suspected to have been drunk.
The driver of the SUV was said to have rammed into a moving truck with registration number ICT-15E025, killing all occupants on the spot.
According to a statement by FRSC’s Public Education Officer (PEO) in Lagos, Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi, the bodies of the deceased were evacuated to a morgue.
