Senate Confirms New CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele

Nigeria’s senate has confirmed Mr. Godwin Emefiele as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Mr Emefiele replaces the embattled Mallam Sanusi Lamido, who was suspended recently by President Jonathan over allegations of fraud and abuse of office.
