Relief as Abducted Osun State Officials Regain Freedom
Uncategorized Monday, April 25th, 2016BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Osun state government has announced the release of its three civil servants recently abducted along Lokoja area, Kogi state, North-central, Nigeria.
A statement by the head of service in the state, Sunday Olayinka Owoeye, said efforts are being made to reunite them with their families.
“The three staffers of the State of Osun Civil Service, Mrs. ‘Bimpe Ogunlumade, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Tajudeen Badejoko, Director of State Audit and the Driver to the Auditor-General (State), Mr. Oladapo Ajani Arogundade, have regained their freedom from their abductors.”
“Arrangements are now being made to convey them to Osogbo within the shortest possible time by security agents with a view to re-uniting them with their families and relations.” the statement stated.
