Reggae Star, Victor Essiet, The Mandators Abducted
Entertainment News, Latest Headlines Sunday, June 28th, 2015By Collins Amadi – Nigerian Reggae star, Victor Essiet of the Mandators Fame has been abducted by unknown attackers.
The 80’s Reggae icon, reports indicated was kidnapped Saturday at his Nsit Ubiom area of Akwa Ibom state, South South Nigeria.
The ugly development, our Correspondent gathered, occurred while Essiet who is also a song writer, was heading back to Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, after his elder brother, Tony Essiet’s wake keep ceremony.
It would be recalled Victor returned to the country, early last year from the United States (US), after two decades break from Nigerian musical scene, following demise of his former wife, Peggy.
