Presidency Confirms Burglars Attack Residence Of Buhari’s CoS At Aso Villa
African News, Featured, Latest Headlines, News, News Across Nigeria, News From The State Monday, May 10th, 2021(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The presidency has confirmed that burglars attacked the residence of the chief of staff to the president, Professor Ibrahim Gambari but were unable to get into the residence.
Gambari’s residence is located within the Aso Villa area, a short distance from the State House, Abuja.
Also attacked was the residence of the Administrative Officer of the State House, Abubakar Maikano.
African Examiner reports that incident happened at 3am on Monday.
Confirming the report on Monday in several tweets, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba, said there was indeed an unsuccessful attempt to burgle Gambari’s house.
“The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there “was a foolish attempt” to burgle his residence at 3:00am this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
“Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident.” He confirmed.
