Police Nab Ten notorious Cult Members in Enugu

Operatives of the special Anti Robbery Squad SARS of the Enugu state police command on Tuesday nabbed a notorious suspected cult kingpin identified as Mba Chukwuemeka popularly known as “Dontiti” of the vikings confraternity.
He was arrested by the operatives at about 7pm at Ngwo community, in Enugu North council area of the state.
According to the state police public Relations officer, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu,following his arrest and subsequent revelations other suspected members of the alleged cult were also apprehended.
Those arrested are, Ndubuisi Agu A.K.A. ND., Ugochukwu Nnadi,A.K.A Kola,Ani chigbo A.K.A Akin,Onah Chukwuebuka A.K.A Ezekudene,Onyeka Okeke A.K.A Balogun,Okwor Afamefuna A.K.A Austie, Orji Anayo A.K.A Anaete and Offor Ogbonna A.K.A Mako.
The state police spokesman said they are currently helping the operatives in their further investigations.
In a related development, operatives of the Nsukka Division of the state police command, have apprehended one Uchola Godwin who claimed to be an indigene of Obale Ibagi community of Kogi state, for alleged unlawful possession of firearm.
The Suspect, was nabbed by the eagle eyed operatives during the stop and search duty at Okpuje along Nsukka/Odolu Kogi road.
The PPRO, disclosed that he was arrested with a locally made pistol and three live cartridges, saying he is also helping the police in their investigations on the matter.
