Police Kill Three Deadly Kidnappers In Anambra

BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Policemen in Anambra State have killed three deadly kidnappers in a gun battle.
The state police public Relations officer, PPRO Okechukwu Ali, said the Commissioner of police in the area, Hosea Karma, has vowed to fish out all criminals from their hideouts in the state.
Okechukwu, who spoke to newsmen monday at the state Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS headquarters in Awkuzu, said its operative would continued to make the entire state a difficult terrain for hoodlums to carry out their ungodly acts.
He disclosed that a woman and her teenage daughter were arrested for allegedly keeping in their custody, a three-year old daughter of one Pastor Nwele, who was kidnapped by a four-man gang and were negotiating a ransom payment before they were nabbed.
While displaying the lifeless bodies of the three kidnappers, with some arms and ammunitions recovered from various robbery and kidnap gangs
Ali, equally paraded two other members of a kidnap gang who were apprehended by the police while negotiating for a ransom of some workers of founder of Christ Embassy church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome who they kidnapped in far away Lagos State and came down to Anambra state to negotiate for their ransom.
The Command spokesman, added that one Chukwuebuka Ohams from Owerri, Imo State was arrested for threatening to kidnap one Dr. Nwokolo if he fails to surrender the documents of his landed property to them.
