Police In Search Of Drug Agency To Unravel Cause Of Prince Death
Entertainment News, Featured, Latest Headlines Thursday, April 28th, 2016BALTIMORE, MD (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Barely a week after his death, the local Police investigating the root cause of pop star Prince’s demise, are presently in search of assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration agency.
Media reported that police have found prescription painkillers in Prince’s possession after his sudden death in Minneapolis last week. Still, there is no official confirmation on the roles the drugs played in the popular singer’s passage.
However, the outcome of the autopsy carried out last Friday, ruled out suicide, but medical examiner has indicated that full results could take several weeks.
The US popstar died last Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the age of 57, in a lift on his Paisley Park estate.
There is wide speculation that Prince might have died due to addiction to painkiller Percocet, which he had been taking since 2009 to relieve hip pain.
While his former percussionist, Sheila E, indicated Prince had suffered the effects of years of jumping off speakers on stage while wearing high heels, his Lawyer, L Londell McMillan, countered claims of drug dependency as the reason for the Music star’s death.
