Police In Anambra Burst Uncompleted Building Where Arms, Ammunition Are Stashed

The Police in Anambra have recovered arms and ammunition, including one AK47, Military rifle, handcuffs, 1,500 live ammunition and 30 fully loaded magazines, from an uncompleted estate at Uruagu Nnewi, Anambra state.
African Examiner learnt that the estate is owned by a businessman based outside Nigeria.
According to the police, the arm cache and others were recovered following a tip-off.
In a similar vein, a joint security task force, comprising the Police, Army, Navy, Department State Service, DSS, and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, on monday raided a suspected baby factory at Odekpe in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state and rescued three teenage pregnant girls.
Owner of the home, popularly known as nurse and her agent, were arrested by the force.
A source in the area said, the bubble burst after one of the pregnant girls was allegedly delivered of a baby boy but was dispossessed of the child.
She was said to have raised the alarm when she could not stomach the disappearance of her new born baby.
The baby our Correspondent gathered was later recovered from the owner of the home by the security operatives and handed over to the mother.
