Police Burst 4-Man Chadian Robbery Gang

Lagos State Police command said on Thursday that it has nabbed a four-man Chadian armed robbery gang in Ikoyi area of the state.
A statement issued by Lagos PPRO DSP Ngozi Braide reads:
“Police patrol team attached to Ikoyi Division while on patrol on the 3rd of February, along Lugard Avenue Ikoyi arrested one Ibrahim Abba ‘m’, Ibrahim Solu ‘m’ Rafiu Guja ‘m’ and Hassan Abba ‘m’ all Shuarab natives from Chad Republic.
“The suspected robbers who are also security guards in various homes in Ikoyi was found in a Honda Accord S/Car with Reg. No. FV 846 LSR.
“On further search of the vehicle, the police recovered one (1) Dagger, one (1) cutlass, two (2) saw blades, three (3) pliers, three (3) fez caps, four (4) Ropes and assorted charms.
“The suspects confessed they were going for robbery operation in Ikoyi area. Effort is on to arrest other gang members.”
Braide added that the case is under investigation at State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.
