The Plateau State Government has sacked the management of the Plateau Publishing Company, publishers of The Nigeria Standard Newspapers.
This was made known in a press statement made available to African Examiner in Jos, and signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Communication, Emmanuel Gogwim.
No reason was given for the suspension.
African Examiner however gathered that the management was sacked due to financial mismanagement and gross misconducts.
However, Mrs. Yankat Wannang, who is a Director in the State’s Ministry of Information and Communication, has been appointed as Interim administrator of the PPC.
The statement assured citizens and customers of the organization of its continued provision of quality services, saying the change will not affect its performance.
