PDP Chairman Urges Aggrieved Aspirants To Support Fayose

The PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has called on other PDP governorship aspirants in Ekiti state to support Mr Ayo Fayose as the party’s flag bearer for the forthcoming election in the state.
Mu’azu made this call while presenting PDP primary election ‘Certificate of Return’ to Ayodele Fayose who won the PDP primary election conducted by Peter Odili team on March 22.
The chairman in his address said: “PDP is a large family, we can accommodation everybody. All other governorship aspirants should support and for authentic PDP governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
“We must all work together to reclaim Ekiti state. Let me thank former governor Peter Odili for conducting free, fair and credible primary election in Ekiti. The outcome of last Saturday’s primary election shows Fayose is a popular candidate that will deliver the state for PDP”.
The PDP governorship Candidate for June 21 governorship election in Ekiti, Ayo Fayose in his remark thanked the party leadership for ratification of the primary election.
“I am ready to work with other PDP aspirants to deliver the state for the ruling party. We are one family.” He said
Fayose will face incumbent governor, Kayode Fayemi of All Progressives Congrss (APC) and Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele OF lABOUR pARTY (lp) in June governorship election in Ekiti state.
It would be recalled that former Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade and other 13 PDP governorship aspirants boycotted the primary election, which Fayose won with 462 votes out of total 477 votes.
