Passengers Survive Another Bristow Helicopter Crash In Lagos

A disaster was averted in Lagos Wednesday as 11 people survived, as a helicopter crashed at the Murtala international Airport, Ikeja.
The crash which has been confirmed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) involved a Bristow helicopter enroute Lagos from Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The South West Public Relations Officer of the agency, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye has confirmed that emergency workers have arrived the scene of the crash.
Details of the course of the accident as at the time of filling this report are still sketchy.
Similar incident occurred last year August when another helicopter also on the fleet of Bristow crashed into the Lagoon. Six out of the 12 passengers, on board then, including expatriates, who coincidentally were en-route Port Harcourt to Lagos died in the crash.
