Palestinian President, Mahmud Abbas Agrees to Visit al – Sisi to End Gaza Offensive

Efforts to douse tension and stop vicious killing in the Palestinian-Israel offensives progress as President Mahmud Abbas is billed to meet with the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi today (Thursday).

The parley was brokered after the two parties – Israel and Hamas agreed to suspend the hostilities Thursday on humanitarian grounds.

The mediation is coming after 10 days of bloody Israel’s ‘Operation Protective Edge’, launched its offensive to attack rocket fire from Gaza militants – Hamas.

Over 200 Palestinians have been reportedly killed in the offensive.
