Oyo Gets New SSG, as Ajimobi Sends 8 Commissioner-Nominees State Assembly

The Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has approved the appointment of Mr. Ismael Olalekan Alli, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
The governor has also forwarded the names of eight nominees for the positions of commissioners and members of the State Executive Council, to the state House of Assembly.
This was contained in a statement issued in Ibadan on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the Governor, Dr. Festus Adedayo.
The new SSG, according to the statement, 56, is a graduate of English Language Studies from the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and also holds a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations from the University of Ibadan.
He was an Assistant Registrar, Industrial Relations and Staff Development of the OAU from 1986 to 1989. He worked with Data Matics Nigeria Ltd. from 1986 to 2000. Until the appointment, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Alcomer International Ventures Ltd., an office automation concern.
The new commissioner-nominees include two former Special Advisers, Hon. Fatai Buhari and Mr. Tayo Koleosho, while a former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Atinuke Ashunkoya also made the list.
Others are Chief Fatai Abimbola, Prof. Nureni Tanimowo, Alhaji Abideen Oladimeji, Mr. Bonuola Azeez Oyelade and Hon. Iyiola A,bali Hammed.
