Osun: I’m Still In The Governorship Race -Fatai Akinbade

The Labour Party governorship candidate in August 9-governorship election in Osun, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade has debunked the rumor that he has step down for other governorship candidates.
Alhaji Akinbade stated this while addressing his supporters in Inisa as part of campaign tour to towns and villages in Osun Central Senator District.
He said the two parties suddenly discover that he might defeat them in August 9, 2014 governorship election, so they are making overture to me to step down.
Akinbade noted that the APC and PDP are becoming disturbed and jittery of his growing popularity among masses ahead of the election.
In his words: “Just in less than 2 weeks to election, PDP and APC are running from pillar to post to get my support. They want me to step down but I will never step down for anybody. I’m in the race to bring hope to the masses.
“They have device a new strategy by telling the masses that I have stepped down for their respective candidate to confuse the voting population.
“I can tell you categorically that I will not step down for any governorship candidate because I will win the election.”
He urged his supporters to mobilize support for Labour Party ahead of the election.
