Osun Guber Poll: INEC Says Collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards Commences March

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) says the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to duly registered persons in Osun State has taken off in the state over five months ago (March 7) this year.

This was contained in a statement signed by the commission’s Chief Press Secretary Mr. Kayode Idowu.

The statement ran contrary to the public knowledge and outcry by the state ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), which called for the take of the exercise this week in less than a month to the governorship election which promised to be keenly contested.

Meanwhile, INEC has urged the prospective voters in the State who are yet to collect their cards to do so.
