Osun Agog As Omisore Flags Off Governorship Campaign

Senator Iyiola Omisore on Saturday at Freedom Park, Oshogbo, Osun State capital flaged off his campaign to contest for the state’s governorship election under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Omisore who spoke to thousands of supporters who thronged the Freedom Park venue of the campaign flag off said the PDP government under him will restore dignity to education in Osun State.
“I am here offering myself for service. I am here to right the wrongs and set our state on sustainable paths”, he said.
Omisore who spoke in Yoruba took a swipe at Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s government for his “inhuman taxes, demolition of markets without alternatives, destruction of the state education heritage, the creation of religious crisis in an otherwise harmonious state.”
“I salute your sense of forbearance under this tyrannical government of Aregbesola” he added.
He promised to reinvent the state through his eight-point agenda that focuses on restoration of the dignity of education, Health, Gender equality and youth development, gainful employment and wealth creation, Agriculture and rural development, good governance, peace and security.
Many PDP bigwigs who graced the occasion were: Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Alhaji Buruji Kashumu, Alhaji Teslim Folarin, former Senate Leader; Alh. Tajudeen Oladipo, Alh. Shuaib Oyedokun, Chief Layi Ogunrinade, Senator Grace Folashade-Bent, Prof. Dupe Olatunbosun, Senator Hosea Agboola, Chief Abidoye Babalola, Senator Olu Alabi, Chief Bose Adedibu and Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, PDP Chairman in Osun State.

And especially not from this odious man. I am surprised he’s still being allowed to even contest.
