Ondo Decides: Mimiko, Falae Condemns Voters’ Inducement With Money; As Jegede Wins Own’s Unit
Featured, Latest Headlines, News Across Nigeria, News From The State Saturday, November 26th, 2016ONDO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and former Finance Minister Chief Olu Falae have condemned alleged inducement of voters with money.
Governor Mimiko who filled incident form, as the smart card reader rejected his finger print, before he could vote at his unit 20 ward 07 in Ondo West Local Council area of the State, complained and demanded the trend should be discouraged.
There are over 1 million registered voters in Ondo State. The voting and counting of votes are still ongoing in different polling units across the 18 local council areas of the State.
In the meantime, the PDP candidate Mr. Eyitayo Jegede has won in his unit 9, ward 02 of the Akure South local government. (The Punch).
PDP polled 184; APC 77 and AD 32 votes.
