Ondo Decides: Akeredolu, Mimiko Win Polling Units In Ondo; Oke Shines In Okitipupa, Ilaje

ONDO, NIGERIA (AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The candidate of the ruling APC in the Ondo State Governorship poll still ongoing, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has won with a wide margin at his polling unit.

Akeredolu defeated his main two rivals with 413 votes, as against the PDP flagbearer, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede with 13 and Olusola Oke of AD who polled paltry 4 votes.

In the same vein, Oke seems to be in the early lead especially at some polling units in Ilaje and Okitipupa local government areas.

Results from Ward 1, Igbodigo Unit 6, of Okitipupa LGA showed AD with141; APC 57 and PDP polled 31 votes. Ward 1 Unit 7, AD polled 161; APC. 88; PDP scored 41. Votes Ward 1 unit 10, AD 187 votes; PDP 63 votes and APC 54.
