“Omisore Guber Aspiration Remains Strong, Realizable”

The governorship bid of Senator Iyiola Omisore remains potent and realisable with the grassroots support from the oppressed Osun voters and various stakeholders in the revival of that grand Osun dream, a pro – Omisore group,t he Omisore Collectives has declared.

In a statement issued on Saturday over recent happenings within the Osun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, the group noted that Osun people have accepted Senator Iyiola Omisore as the needed alternative to the oppressive and deceitful government of the All Progressive Congress, asserting that “no amount of gang up will stop the realization of this project.

“We noticed recent trends in Osun state and we declare that the decision to vote out Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is entirely that of Osun voters and not that of a few handful disgruntled politicians. The decision to make Senator Omisore the next governor of Osun state is also that of Osun people and nothing has happened to that strong will of our people for change come August 9.

“Osun people have come to realize that the Omisore ambition is a rescue mission,a project to liberate them from the shackles of oppression,poverty,financial recklessness,organized corruption and eccentric rulership. Anybody who team up with Ogbeni Aregbesola to perpetuate his ungodly rule is anti- people and our people will reject them come August 9.

“We make bold to say that the mass of our people accept Senator Omisore as the agent of change for several reasons namely his well articulated manifestos designed to return Osun to normalcy,his broad mindedness arising from decades of service in public life,his pro- people ruggedness necessary to defeat the tyrannical and deceitful APC government,his honesty which many deceitful politicians find difficult to cope with and his relentless push for a truly pro- poor leadership despite years of tribulations”, the statement signed by Mr Abdul- Rasheed Olode declared.

While urging Senator Omisore to remain steadfast in his dogged pursuit of the rescue mission,the group urged voters in Osun state to redouble their determination to effect change come August 9 by using their votes to defeat an anti- people coalition lined up behind the outgoing governor of the state.

” We urge Senator Omisore ,the Lisa of Osogboland ,to continue to stand by Osun people in this hours of need. We urge him to wear more of his political battle caps to lead our people in this necessary struggle for change . In critical times like this ,he with God and the masses is the winner”, the statement concluded.
