“Okorocha Doesn’t Deserve Second Term”
Latest Headlines, News, News From The State Friday, March 13th, 2015A non partisan group, Imo Development Union(IDU) has faulted the projects being executed by the state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, describing it as cosmetic projects which cannot stand the test of time.
The group in a statement signed by its President, Mr. John Okpara and made available to reporters in Akure, said the people of Imo state cannot be deceived by the projects that have no direct impact on the lives of the people of the state.
IDU noted that Governor Okorocha would not be re-elected by the people of the state because he has failed woefully in his first term in office.
The group however pledged its loyalty to the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Rt. Emeka Ihedioha whom they described as a man with great focus and unique leadership quality.
The statement read, “It is a clear fact that Governor Rochas Okorocha has failed in his first term in office. He has failed to execute masses oriented project.
” Most projects he executed are cosmetic ones which are carried out to loot Imo People’s treasury.
“In view of this, we think the Governor does not deserve to be reelected. He has failed the people of Imo state. Imo people need visionary leaders.
“And that is why we have decided to throw our weight behind the PDP candidate who we believe has what it takes to take Imo to the next level.
“We are very sure that he would transform Imo from its present state to a cynosure of all eyes”
