In a letter dated 10th  June 2015, and addressed to the Inspector General of Police Mr. Solomon Arase and the DG of DSS, titled‎; Request for Protection and a reminder sent on the 18th of  June 2015.

The letter, written by Prodigy Chambers led by Barr. “That since the said petition, his life has been under severe threat, necessitating him to file a motion to enforce his fundamental rights to life inter alia”

In the reminder, Prodigy Chambers stated in its letter that “recall that on the 10th day of June, our client caused a petition to be written to you for the protection of his life”.

“That yesterday being the 17th of June ‎2015, our client received a call around 20:16 pm from a  mobile nos.(withheld), threatening his life and his family to desist from going on with the petition, in his words he said “you think you can write a petition and get away with it. We have information about you and know where you live.”

According to the Prodigy Chambers, the voice on the phone sounded like that of an aide to Mr. Okiro (name withheld)

Prodigy Chambers told the security agencies that therre were many unresolved murder cases in the country and their client was not ready to be part of the statistics, hence his distress call for them to thoroughly investigate his complaint and provide security for him and his family.
