Ohaneze Youths Compile Names Of Corrupt Igbo Politicians, To Send List To Buhari

IGNATIUS OKPARA, Enugu – The Youth wing of the apex Igbo Socio cultural body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo operating under the banner of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), says it has compiled names of all corrupt politicians and looters of public treasury in the South- East Zone for onward transmission to President Muhammadu Buhari.

In the list are past and present looters of public funds, which the organization said, will soon be made public “so that there will be no hiding place for such characters who brought woes to Ndigbo”.

OYC in a statement signed by its National president, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and made available to African Examiner in Enugu Wednesday, also called on similar groups in other zones of Nigeria, to follow suit “so that our nation will be sanitized once and for all”

The statement reads in parts: “All efforts should be made to prosecute these looters to serve as a deterrence to others presently and in the future. The list is very comprehensive and OYC will ensure that the loots are returned to Ndigbo and Nigerians.”

It also warned embattled leader of Movement For the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra MASSOB Chief Raph Uwdazuruike and Leader of Ex- Niger Delta Militants, Asari Dokubo to stop deceiving Ndigbo and the Niger delta by their war mongering meeting at Owerri recently.

“They have shown by their recent actions and activities to be common bourgeois pretending to be fighting for a cause, after heavy inducement by the past regime which they alone pocketed while neglecting the people they claim to be fighting for.

“They are now trying to incite the people of the South East and South- South against the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari. We shall resist that unpatriotic and selfish move, we call on Ndigbo and the South South to resist these two clowns. They should be arrested if they continue this antics.”
